Winter at the Beach

Today Jade comes out looking like this and says, "Mommy, I ready the Beach" She then said, " I go Swimming. Sidney (her bff) come too." I told her we couldn't go swimming it was too cold. She of course was not detered by that...

..and began to "Swim" on the floor. So, this was our alternative to going to the beach... almost as good.

Decorating and Potty Training

Yesterday Jade decorated her very own Christmas tree all by herself. She was so proud and did a great job. It soon fell over because all the decorations were on one side, so then I helped her decorate it again. Yesterday was also our first attempt at potty training...hence the lack of pants. Thats lasted all off 30 minutes. She peed on the floor and said,"Uh oh! What happened mommy?" Maybe we'll give it a few more months...

When I found out I was pregnant, I began to wonder how Jade was going to handle having a baby around. She is the only grandchild on the Weech side, and was the only granddaughter (and one of 3 grandchildren) on the Broby side....needless to say she is a bit spoiled, especially with attention. So, I was not sure she would like sharing the spotlight.

The day Lilly was born Jade came to the hospital. She looked at the baby for a minute. We said, "Do you want to give the baby a kiss?"
"NO."
"Do you want to hold your baby sister?"
"Nope."
Then she promptly turned to her Grammy who she had spent the entire day with and said, " I go to Grammy's house." and grabbed Grammy's hand and headed for the door. Day two was about the same. She didn't want much to do with Baby Lilly. OH HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED!!

Jade LOVES Baby Lilly and loves on Baby Lilly all day long. She recognizes that Lilly gets all of this attention, so she has taken ownership of Baby Lilly. I know what she is thinking in that smart little brain of her...if baby Lilly is getting all this attention, I am the one really getting all the attention because she is MY baby sister. Doesn't that make you look at this picture differently?

I am constantly saying, "Too hard, too much, Ok Jade that's enough kisses, Jade you can't lay on top of Baby Lilly, You are so sweet but no more kisses, etc..." Jade does not ever just give Lilly one kiss. She gives her machine gun kisses. Her minimum is three kisses.

When Jade hears Lilly cry she yells, "It's okay Baby Lilly...I coming!!" Then she proceeds to run to her and shove her pacifier in her mouth, if I don't get there first. Then she mimics my voice perfectly as she says, "oh...it's ok BAA BEE Lilly!"

Oh and did I mention that Jade is constantly steeling Lilly's pacifier. She usually grabs it out of her mouth and lets out an evil laugh and then runs away as fast as she can.

Pretty Much Famous...Again

Many of you probably know my sister Candi or Candice to some of you. What you may not know is that Candi is an amazing writer! She has finished three novels, is working on more, and had written some of the best poetry I have ever read. All writing talent went to Candi. I have none! So the other day Candi asked me to send her some of my engagement pictures. She wouldn't tell me why. All she would tell me is that she wanted high resolution and a serious pose. Later that night I got this in my email...

Candi designed this cover to print out some copies of her book for our family, so ...Like I said, PRETTY MUCH FAMOUSE! I can't wait to see my face on every bookshelf of every person in our family!!

So Candi, I just wanted to say thank you and I love it! I can't wait to have a hard copy for my library! Also, thank you for fulfilling my dreams of being famous:)

4 Years BABY!!

Two days ago was our 4th wedding anniversary. Time definately flies.

A lot has happened in the last four years. Our anniversaries have not been the average wedding anniversaries, and have marked some of the biggest events in our lives. Every anniversary I have learned something about the man I married.
On our first anniversary my Grandma Jackson was not doing well. I knew she didn't have long to live and felt very strongly that I needed to drive home to Yuma to see her. I left work early and drove straight to my parents house. I got there just in time to say goodbye. My grandma died 10 minutes after I arrived. I really felt like it was a tender mercy from the Lord and also that my grandma held on a little longer just for me (or maybe it was just because she was stubborn:). On this anniversary I learned how selfless Tyler was, and how he truly has his priorities straight. He didn't even think twice about it when I asked if we could cancel our plans for that night so that I could go. He even helped me get out the door as quick as possible.

Our second anniversary I was 9 months pregnant with Jade and not feeling good at all. I had gained so much weight and and was not feeling great ( I think all moms can understand this). It was definately a time of change and learning for me. Tyler was so good to me and always made sure I knew that he loved me and that he still thought I was beautiful. I also learned this year just how much the man I married LOVES babies. Tyler is the baby whisperer. He not only loves babies but they love him.

Year three was a transision year for us. We were living with the Maughans in their guest house while Tyler was remodeling a forclosure we had bought. He was also working full time and going to school full time. It was a very busy time, but Tyler always made time for his family. This year he had bought me several presents and hid them all over. He had to work all day and then go to school all night. He would call me throughout the day and give me clues that had sentimental meanings to find the gifts. I learned that Tyler can be sentimental if he wants. I also learned that no matter what he is doing he is still thinking about his family.

This year's anniversary brought much to celebrate. Tyler just started his own business and most importantly, our Little Lilly's birth. She tunred three weeks old on our anniversary. We got take out instead of going out and spent the evening with our girls. I love that Tyler loves being home and loves being a dad. He is so good at it. He is also go good at being a husband. He really does it right and I am lookinf forwar to every year and what it brings to our family!

Nap Time

Its been a couple of months now since Jade started climbing out of her crib. That was the day nap time turned in to power struggle and then into "quiet time". First we changed Jades Crib into a toddler bed and put a child lock on her door so she couldn't come out. It only took her about a week to figure out how to get that off, so I taped it closed. Two minutes is all it took for her to get that off. Then I tripled taped it and it took her even less time to remove that. Every time she came out she was SO proud of herself. It was so Cute and so frustrating! Finally we took the door handle off and put the lock on the outside so we could lock our crazy child in!

If I am really lucky Jade falls asleep in her bed. Most days that she actually falls asleep, I find her like this...

Jade actually going to sleep at all is a very rare occurrence. Most days are like today...after two hours of "quiet time" Jade yells, "Momma, momma, I need help." so I go in to find this...

She says to me, "Momma, I stuck." I said " yes you are" and then she says, "and I need chocolate!" Random! I just started laughing. Oh did I mention that she is never wearing her clothes by the end of quiet time.

Yesterday I had two sleeping girls at the same time!! It was so nice because I had so much to do...laundry, a house to clean...so naturally I decided it was time to decorate my Christmas tree...two weeks early!

I am never an early decorator, and I have really been fighting the urge to decorate early this year, but I finally gave in. I just decided that I better do it when I have time or it might not happen. I haven't really got to enjoy decorating for Christmas the last couple of years. Last year we were about to move, and living it the Maughan's guest house, and the year before that little Jade was born. Luckily I did have some decorations up thanks to my sister Candi who decorated my stair case so that I got to come home to some holiday cheer. The other problem is i don't have any Thanksgiving decorations so sorry Thanksgiving! Maybe I try to pick up some decorations this year after Thanksgiving when they are cheap and we will try for next year.

Goblin Valley

The road there

We had such a great time with the Goodman's and Spencer. We watched movies on the projector every night, went hiking, four wheeling, and quading. We went exploring and just had a great time hanging out. Goblin valley was fun, but the drive there was even more fun! Jade loved everything about the cabin...especially the stairs! Unfortunatly she got sick the last couple days and we had to take her to the clinic in Bicknel for some antibiotics, but in true Jade fashion kept playing hard and still had a great time.

Hope you both get a chance to look at this! Here are the many faces of Jade. She is getting so big and has an even bigger personality! Well I probably should have wiped the ice cream off of her face, but I think she is just as cute with cookies n' cream all over her face. Tyler had a convention in San Diego so Jade and I got a lot of time together. We walked down to Sea Port Villiage and spent the day at the park and playing in the fountains. The next day we got to go to the zoo with Tyler, and Jade loved it. She especially loved the elephants and merecats. She also loved the petting zoo...and just hanging out with her dad. Jade's admission to the zoo was free, but by the time we bought her a hat and sunglasses she was getting pricey!

Tyler once told me that he loves to take Jade to Home Depot with him because he loves to watch how big tough looking men turn into big teddy bears and ooh and awe over how cute jade is. So here is a look at what our trips to home depot are like these days...

Well this last week we went to Home Depot and spent the most that I have ever spent there in my life. $1700 later this is what our 3 shopping carts looked like...

We now have a new water heater, 2 new toilets, 2 medicine cabinets, and all of our plumbing fixtures. I can't wait to see the finished project! Just a quick update. We now have all of our plumbing done and most of our electrical. We have can lights on our kitchen and dinning room. We will have cans in our bathrooms too. Tyler spent this last Saturday grinding the uneven concrete floors and so we can put our wood floors on eventually.

Halloween and Roseola

Our poor baby had roseola on her very first Halloween. We took her to our ward carnival for about 15 minutes thinking she was on the mend and then Sunday morning she woke up with the rash. Witch actually means she was on the mend, but nontheless she has a rash in her pj pictures, but she still looks stinking cute!!

Earlier this month my Mom, Hyrum, Jade and I all got to go and visit my sister Candi and her family at their new home in South Dakota. We got super cheap tickets by flying out of Mesa Gateway Airport...check it out and see if they fly to anywhere you need to go because if they do you can get tickets as cheap as $10.99 one way. Anyway, Mt Rushmore was definitely the highlight. It was amazing and it was on my bucket list so that was great. I was not disappointed!

The story of the BOBCAT

Tyler and I have been having a "discussion" about whether or not to rent a bobcat to help do our landscaping in the back yard. We had a border made out of nasty old rail road ties (about 20 ties) and a large section of rocks (approx. 45x20)to move. It's $250 to rent a Bobcat for one day. I am a money saver and Tyler loves big machines. So of course my argument was that we could do it ourselves and spend more time and save the money. He told me there was no way that I was going to want to move that stuff by hand. So, one day while he was at work I spent about 4 hours at our new place moving the rail road ties. I proceeded to send Tyler this pictures and titled it "I am The Bob Cat" I also raked up all the nasty dog poop that had so kindly been left for us. The yard was looking pretty good... At this point I am thinking that I am pretty Bad! I then of course had to call Tyler to make sure he got the picture and tell him I told you so, without using those specific words. Of course then he says well the rail road ties are not the big deal, its the rocks that we are going to want the Bob Cat for. So I am of course like whatever... if I just moved 20 railroad ties by hand. I can shovel a few rocks. Well...if you look real close where the red circle is, you can see my 4 shovel marks I made before I decided that I was going to have to pretend like I was just going to have to let Tyler rent the Bob Cat to make him happy because other wise I am sure I would never have any peace. Ya...he saw through that so fast! He was laughing the second I said any thing...he knew and I knew and so... Ok...I am so glad we got the Bobcat. We could never have gotten done what we spent the entire day doing yesterday without it. Yep..that's me... Tyler and I were both pretty filthy at the end of the day. Finally, I would like to give a shout out to the F350. We couldn't have done it without you!

Ok...so this is really the worst of the house and it's not all that bad, Luckily we don't have to live in it while we gut it and remodel. I am so excited about it. It's going to be a lot of work, but we are looking forward to the after shots....

So far we (and by we I mean Tyler and Drew) have ripped out all of the flooring, cabinets, counter tops. Me Tyler and Jade went over on Friday for Our date night and got it all swept up.

This Saturday is another demolition day. We will be ripping out drywall and moving one wall. If you notice our very 80's kitchen with it's lowered ceiling. That will be going and the very nasty shower..

Oh Lake...I love you

Tyler and I got to go to the lake for the first time in a long time. Nicki (and Jacque and Grandpa:) love us and watched our little peanut while we wakeboarded and jet skied to our hearts content. It was nice to do something just the 2 of us and no baby, but I was so happy to see her when we got home. I have a lot of unexplained bruises, but it was so worth it.

Confessions of a Rude Shopper

As I was out grocery shopping today I was about to leave my cart in the first available space and someone that was just starting their shopping said, oh I'll take that for you. I had to laugh a little inside because she thought she was doing me a favor but the truth was I was about to leave the cart right there in that spot. I said thank you, of course, but that was just so she would think I was going to return the cart. Then I had the thought. I think I am a rude shopper. Things only got worse at Walmart. I hate Walmart. I shop there because it is convenient and cheap, but I don't like it. After I was done there I started to ask myself... Am I alone in this? Are my actions normal? Do you look at someone like me when you are shopping and think...Rude! Please make your decision from the following four pieces of evidence.

1. I ALWAYS park in the employee carpool spots...always! (My argument: Who carpools to work really?! The spaces are always empty and I am sure I am not there during the time of shift changes. I mean really, who loads up in their car to go to work at noon and picks up three other people on the way. It just doesn't happen. So, why let those premium spots up front go to waist? **Also I am technically carpooling with my daughter so I am only breaking half the rule right?)

2. I open things before I buy them. Today I was buying crackers for Jade and she was fussy so I opened them right up and fed her one. I also do this with drinks I buy. (Argument: None..it's just what I do)

3. I checked out in the 20 items or less and had 33 items. (Argument: This I don't normally do, but didn't seem to have a problem with it today. Ok maybe I was a little ashamed because I didn't look the cashier in the face until after she had scanned everything. Then I was extra friendly)** Just an extra note...I would not do this if the line was long and the store was busy. ***Extra extra note...I would do it if the store was busy and there was not one in the 20 item check out line. (just so you can make a fair judgment.)

4. I never take my cart back. I leave it in the first available spot that won't damage anyone's car. (Argument: It's a thousand degrees outside...I don't want to leave my baby in a hot car for any longer than is necessary, and I don't want to walk away from my car if the keys are in the ignition and Jade is inside)

How did I never know about these shows before? I LOVE the History Channel. I love these shows. How long have I been missing out? Does anyone else love these shows? I have never been much of a TV watcher, then we got direct TV...I get a lot more ironing done, and if you ask my mom I have never ironed in my life, but it makes me feel better about watching TV because at least I am doing something productive while I waist my life away! Please tell me there are other lovers of these shows out there and if you have never watched them...you should!

Face Lift and Book Recomendations.

No, not me...my blog, although that would make a much more interesting post. Maybe if I'm still blogging in 50 years. This backdrop is called Lost in Jane Austin. I just finished Pride and Prejudice for the first time. It was much overdue. I just loved it. I can't wait to finish the rest of her works. I am always looking for good books to read and am currently looking for one. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Just a heads up... I'm not a big fan of Nicholas Sparks. I love Fantasy, science fiction, adventure, historical fiction, etc. I really like most things as long as they are interesting and clean. I just bought a book called the Knife of Never Letting Go, and I was so intrigued, but if took the Lord's name in vain so much I had to throw it away, it was hard to do. The funny thing is if it was a movie, I would have turned it off a lot sooner but for some reason, it was harder to put the book down, than to turn off the movie. Ever felt that way before? By the way, if you have a android phone, get the Reveal Reader app. It is awesome. You can download all the classic books for free. I just read Pride and Prejudice on my phone, and am now reading A Tale of Two Cities. It also has not only all the standard works, but ALL the church literature. OK not all, but a ton.

Jade is 4 months old now and rolling everywhere. The funniest thing is that she uses her feet for everything! It is so cute. She plays with her toys with her feet and then she chews and sucks on her big toe! I was a thumb sucker and apparently my child is a toe sucker. She actually tries to chew on everything! The other day she had rolled herself up to the baseboard and was trying to bite it. She always wants to chew the carpet which really grosses me out. She has two teeth and more coming. She got her first 2 teeth at 3 months! Her pediatrician said that is about the earliest he's seen...lucky me! Not too great for nursing, but she does look awefully cute. She is such a great baby and she brings so much joy to our lives. Thanks again for the great pictures Jacque! And sorry to those of you who are experiencing deja vu because you just visited the Weech blog.

Poo story

Tyler was asked to say the prayer in Sunday school yesterday. He was holding Jade and got up in front of the room to pray. After the prayer he sat down and looked over at me and whispered "Help" with a little panic in his voice. I looked over to see green poop on his tie and all down his pants and then several good sized puddles on the carpet. I just started to laugh. WHAT!! How did that happen?! Apparently Tyler was holding her just right for all of her poo to shoot out the top of her diaper and all over him and the floor, and with poop like that how did I miss it! You know there had to be some noise when that came out! Anyway I took her out and changed her and there was hardly anything in her diaper. Tyler cleaned up what he could with her burp rag and then threw it away. He then took Jade home and I went back with carpet cleaner and a rag. Now that will make you think twice about picking your kids binky up off the church floor and sticking it back in their mouth!

Jade has started to talk the last couple of days. She also looks at you and smiles. It's fun because she smiles when you talk to her. Jade has a scowl like nobody's business. It is so funny.

Jade Was born on December 15th and 6:15 pm. She was 7lb 8oz. She came out beautiful and with a pouty face to kill. I could not believe that she could stick out her lip like that already.

I have finally decided that I am going to do a Dr. Seuss nursery and I am so excited. I love the primary colors, and who doesn't like Dr. Seuss books! I have a little bit of work ahead of me... This is the bed set that I want to get and my inspiration for decorating. I love the reds and yellows and think I'll do most of my accenting in those colors.

This is where I am at right now...it is crazy to think that I have a little miniture baby in me. Tyler felt her move for the first time this week...that was really really fun.

Your baby's crown-to-rump length is about 8.8 inches. Weight has increased to around 1.5 pounds and fat is still being deposited at a high rate. Babies come in all shapes and sizes, so your baby could vary slightly from these `average` measurements. Your uterus has grown quite a bit bigger this week. The top of your uterus is between your bellybutton and your sternum. Your uterus is about the size of a soccer ball now!

If your baby is delivered at this time, it would have a good chance of surviving. It is best for your baby to remain inside of you for the remainder of the pregnancy, but great advances have been made in the care of a premature baby. Ventilators, monitors and medications all help premature babies develop and grow outside of the womb. If your baby were born this early, he would probably have to spend several months in the hospital and would be more susceptible to infections and other complications.

You can hear your baby's heartbeat with both a Doppler and a stethoscope at this time, and your partner may even be able to hear the heartbeat unaided if he puts his ear in the right position. Sex differentiation is being completed now. If you are expecting a baby boy, the testes start to descend into the scrotum. In baby girls, the vagina is hollowing out. Your baby is able to do more with their fingers now and can move his fingers to make a complete fist. As your baby becomes more dexterous, he will be able to touch and hold his feet. Babies also begin to prefer their left hand or right hand at this time. Because babies settle into routines of sleep and activity, you might begin to notice these patterns as well. Some women experience the most fetal movements while they are trying to rest.

We spent the weekend in LA for my cousin Dylan's wedding reception, which was beautiful! His wife Emily really is gorgeous! Anyway, my Uncle David let T&T go for a ride on his custom hogs. Sleep Biting

Sorry...I know I am terrible at keeping up on this thing, but I have a short funny story. Last night I woke up to Tyler saying, "Why did you bite me?!" I vaguely remember doing it, but I did...I bit him in my sleep. Some people walk, some people talk, and some people bite. I wish I could remember the dream I was having. I'm pretty sure he made me mad. LOL! So, when he told me this morning I asked where I bit him...it was his shoulder. He's lucky he didn't have his fingers close to my mouth! He said I bit him really hard too...LOL! Moral of the story...don't tick me off in my dreams!

Tyler's Prayer

Last night Tyler was praying. Here is the middle part of his prayer. Note there was no pauses or signs that he was falling asleep....
"Please bless that Jenny won't attract anymore animals and that she will be safe for the rest of the day." Then he went right back to saying normal things. It was so funny but I held it in until he was done. I was cracking up and what is even funnier is that he didn't remember it at all. Usually when he does that he says oh yeah i was having a dream about... Nope this time! No recollection whatsoever. So, I wonder what type of animal I was attracting and what the reason was?

Thanksgiving was so great this year! Nicki got cancelled so she came to dinner with us and that made my day for sure! Grampy made the most delicious meal and Jacque took the most beautiful pictures. Thanks Jacque! I put a picture of my in-laws in here for any of you who have not met them!

I know I know!! It's been ages! Yes we are alive. Things have been crazy busy with the new house, school, Tyler looking for a new job, Yes that's right the econemy finally caught up to us. We are doing really well! We had our house warming party this weekend and it was a blast...Bacon covered hot dogs and Rock Band. I just want to say that I have the best friends. I think Arizona is so beautiful. It's definitely different than the rest of the world, but I always tell people that AZ is a different kind of beautiful. Maybe I am just bias because I have lived here my whole life...Anyway, in all the places that I have travelled, I have never seen sunsets as beautiful as the ones we get right here in AZ. We were at Costco the other night and I looked out the door and the sky looked like it was on fire. So I ran outside and took a couple pictures. I wish I would have had a better view, but you get the idea..

Well we definitely had the time of our life this weekend! We flew out on Wed night to Florida, arriving at 930 or so in the morning where Savannah and Aaron picked us up from the air port. Not even 2 minuted into our ride, I saw a huge dead armadillo on the freeway. I immediately called Spencer to ask if armadillos lived in FL or if it was just a huge rat and he assured me that the chances of me seeing a live armadillo was very slim but that he probably saw 200 dead ones. So the trip started out on an exciting note. We boarded the ship at about noon and the adventure began!
The ship was great! It was an older ship so everything was very retro... hot pinks and purples and glitter...it was fantastic! The pool was a little small, but our rooms were really comfortable and bigger than we expected. The service was great...everyone was so nice. Every night we got together and ate in the dinning room which had really good food. Three course meals every night. Our server was great! When we got to the Bahamas Tyler and I decided to rent scooters! It was the best decision we made! They were a blast! We put Jacque and Ally on the back and drove over to the Atlantis Hotel which was incredible!

There were the most amazing aquariums with all sorts of fish!

The water slides were huge!! The decorations were amazing! The water really is crystal clear on the beach and the sand is white! Tyler and I spent a few hours at the water park while everyone went and played with the dolphins. After that we took off on our scooters to tour the island. It was so much fun! Everyone was so nice! Even the people I almost ran over with my scooter! I only went down the wrong way once on a one way street!LOL! But I did notice right away and to be completely fair the sign was on knocked over on the ground! You can see it all on the video. After the returned our scooters we went down to the flee market and I got myself a beautiful new fake Dolce and Gabbana purse for $40. And some other fun stuff! After that we were ready to get back on our air conditioned ship. It was formal night in the dinning room, so we all got dressed up for dinner. We had no idea that we were all going to match. After that we decided to go dancing. Tyler and Ally first got tattoos (airbrushed...tyler's means dangerous LOL!) and then when we got to the dance deck no one was dancing! thee were tons of people sitting around on the deck but no one dancing! So Jacque and I decided to get the party started. Tyler and Ally were not too sure about dancing, but they joined us a little while later after a few more people had joined us. Pretty soon the dance floor was rockin'!It was full and Jacque and I take full credit! Jacque you rock! The cruz started teaching dances after that. We danced our little booties off until we could dance no more. We were so sweaty it was disgusting, but everyone was because it was so humid! Our favorite dance that we learned was called the Cupid shuffle, or the cupid four step. I can't remember! But while we were dancing there was a black girl ( the majority of the ship was black) dancing behind me and she said to her friend while busting up and pointing at me...look how she does that. It made Me laugh really hard. I am not sure if it was because I was so white when I was dancing, but I think she liked my moves! For sure!

"The House" And Jacque's "Friend"

The house is progressing really fast! I think it is going to be here before I know it. I am so excited to have my very own house with my very own husband! And maybe someday my very own kids...Lol...no, we are not pregnant even thought Tyler insists on telling everybody that we are. LOL he is such a big kid.... That reminds me of something he did that made me laugh pretty hard. We were over at the Weech's house on Sunday and Jacque had a "friend" over. We'll Tyler and I played a game with them, and Tyler and the "friend" were a little competitive the whole time but he was a good sport. Anyway, as we were walking out the front door, Jacque and her "friend" were down stairs and Tyler yells our "BYE JACQUE!" and then "BYE JACQUE'S BOYFRIEND!" and then he walks out the door laughing. It struck me as so funny. I don't know why, but I think it had something to do with Tyler antagonizing his little sister like they were kids all over again. I guess I wasn't really surprised after the cell phone FHE with Ally,(see Dena's Blog for details) All I can say is that when he started inviting all of the boys in her phone via text to come over it was pretty funny to watch things play out! Well that was kind of a wierd blog...now you all know how my brain works because you just got to witness first hand my stream of conciousness.

What more do we need?!? Its going up fast! Tyler spends almost every morning in our house and he is really loving it and learning a lot. Only about 4 months left! Meanwhile I have been collecting things to decorate the house. I bought a new painting last week that I am very excited about! I have also been deciding on colors. This is so much fun! I can't wait until it's done and we can have visitors and a place for family and friends to stay!

Date Night

Friday Night Tyler and I went out with some new friends in our ward. We went to a place called Dave and Busters...I think. Anyway, we had a lot of fun and it reminded me of how much Tyler loves arcades. It was so fun to just watch him get so excited to play every game. Just for the record, I lost at the basketball shoot...and he killed me in racing and my arm kept getting really tired during the gun shooting game, so I think he did better in that too! Oh and that long string of tickets-that was Tyler's winnings after one try on one of those really hard to get waist of money games. He got 100 tickets though! They also had a photo booth called the gene machine. It took pictures of each partner and then printed out a picture (coming soon!) of your future children. YIKES!! Thats all I have to say... Matt and Janelle did it too, and their kids both came out bald. We laughed pretty hard and then some drunk lady told us not to procreate....ummm...thanks for that piece of advice. LOL! All in all it was a really fun night.

Tiffany looked so beautiful at her wedding!! The ceremony was so good, and they both looked so happy. Tiffany really did remind me of a princess from a disney movie. Apparently the kids thought the same thing! They swarmed her as soon as she came out the door. Her reception was a lot of fun and really really pretty. It was in her cousins back yard and they had a soft serve ice cream amchine! I have to say that it was a hit! Also the bridesmaids looked great in their cute black dresses. I am so happy for you Tiff! Tyler and I are so excited to have more married friends!!

I was just looking through my wedding pictures and i just love this picture. It's not that the picture its self is amazing, but I think it really captures my dad's real smile, and I love that smile... It remindes me of his laugh and not just the regular laugh but his true laugh... anyone who has heard it knows what I am talking about! The best is when he thinks he is super clever and cracks himself up. (wonder where we all got it from?) I used to say that if I went deaf and could only hear one thing I would probably choose my dad's laugh because it is pure joy.

Peanut Butter Paradise!

This blog is dedicated to Grampy!! I just want everyone to know how wonderful he is! Right after Tyler and I first got married grampy started making me my own special bread because he knew that I couldn't have milk or yeast in my bread. He makes me the most Delicious sourdough wheat bread....as if that wasn't already enough, two weeks ago at dinner Grampy said to me, "I didn't know that you loved peanut butter so much". He had read my blog about my peanut butter obsession. He then proceeded to show me this....

It is my bread with peanut butter and honey swirled on the inside! It is so delicious! I went home and ate 3 pieces before I went to bed. Thanks Grampy!! You're the best!

This week we got to pick out our options for our house. It was so much fun and I am so excited to see it all put together. We think it is going to look great! I got some pictures off the internet, so you might not get a perfect idea, but you'll get the idea. Here is our kitchen! All of our appliances are black and our stove is a gass stove! yay! It is so great that Tyler works there because we already have a free big, black cast iron sink, and a brand new nice microwave! The sink has a little scratch in the bottom that you don't even notice, and that would have happened the first time I did dishes anyway, and we cant even find the nick on the microwave...Thank goodness for picky homeowners!

First off, here is our tile. It will be set at a diagonal in all bathrooms, kitchen, dinning room, and entry.

This is the color of our cabinents but not the wood grain. We are so excited about our cabnents. Its hard to imagine from just this picture, but they are so pretty. We got 42" upper (which is the biggest we could get them) and we got them staggered. I am so excited to finally have a place to put all of my gifts from the wedding

The New House!!

Tyler and I had a great weekend. It started out with going to find our new home!! We have been looking for a while now in Tyler's neighborhood for the house that we want and have been decided on this one for a while. We really love it! So we went on Friday and worked with Martha and got all of our paperwork. We took it home and read over it all and signed it and now all we have left to do is take it back wih our ernest money. We have an appointment for Wed. We have already picked out our lot so we have dirt! It is 5 houses down from a cute park. The neighborhood is really nice. It will be really nice for Tyler too becasue all he will have to do is walk out the door and he'll be at work! For me it will be an extrat 5 minutes or so on to my commute, but thats not bad! Spy Games

So I think Tyler had been playing a few too many spy games on his x- box and I have been watching too many movies because we have been getting way too much enjoyment out of staking out Tyler's neigborhood! Let me explain... So, some of Tyler's (unoccupied) houses have been getting broken into and appliances stolen. They have seen what type of truck it is on one of their cameras but they haven't caught the guys. So they have asked tyler to drive around and keep an eye on the houses at night if he gets a chance because we live so close, so it's become a little bit of a ritual for us on our way home to go by and check things out. LOL we love it! so we stopped by on our way home from the Oliver's last night and as we drove around one of the garages was open that had definately not been open when we went by on Friday night! and there were the same tire marks in the garage that have been mached to the other thefts!! So we looked around and went inside of course!! I know we are so brave!! J/K We knew there was no one there. Anyway, that house hadn't even had appliances put in yet and everything looked fine so it's a bit of a mistery...what happened here? Did the bandits think that there were appliances? Where they scared away by someone or something? Its an unsolved mistery...but don't worry, we will find out what happens!

Coke Ovens

I went to the Coke Ovens down in the box canyon area this weekend! TONS of fun and there was alot of jeeps there from this internet group I am in. Enjoy the pics!

Here is the beginning of the trail at the top of the canyon. It was so GREEN and there was alot of water in some of the washes. Not very normal to see it like this!

These are the ovens that a small mining town use to use to burn wood inside and make coals for the refinery. Pretty sweet! They totally stand out in the side of the valley that we climbed our way down to!

Well Candi “Tagged” me back when I was engaged, but we all know that was never going to happen, and Summer tagged me too. I figure with two tags I better do something! So here are a few random facts about me..

1. 1. I love peanut butter!! More than normal people do. If you look in my pantry at any given time you will find at least 5 different types of peanut butter. Right now I have 2 big jars of Jiff creamy...which is the best creamy peanut butter you can buy (trust me I've tasted them all). I also have Mrs. Scutters all natural crunchy. (make sure not to get the unsalted its nasty!) I also have squeeze bottle, jiff on the go...which is great for traveling and to take to work. I also have the little tiny samples of peanut butter. I love the peanut paradise smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I love peanut butter in green apples, animal crackers, protien bars (cliff crunchy peanut butter), toast, cookies, and in my icecream (which I never really eat anymore, but it's delicious!. I love the peanut butter filled pretzels! I have two peanut butter cook books thanks to Nicki). Two Christmases ago, Tyler bought me 8 lbs of peanut butter and drove it in to me in the back of a remote control monster truck! It was all over after that…he knew my weakness!

2. I have really strong legs and when I lived with all of my roommates they thought that it was really entertaining to challenge every guy that visited our house to leg wrestle me! I didn’t always find it as amusing. I often refused because it is not the most attractive thing…generally its not attractive to for a girl to beat a guy and it even less attractive for a guy to get beat by a girl. And, if I could beat you at leg wrestling, turn off! However, those of you who know me know that I am a bit competitive so if provoked enough, I can be persuaded. There actually were quite a few matches. I will have it known for the record that when Mark and Paul (cousins) came to visit, I smoked Paul! (sorry Paul!) Also I did leg Wrestle Tyler when we were dating, and his cousin Kyle. I beat Kyle but I couldn’t beat Tyler. Good thing or I might still be single!

3. I love shows!! So much! If I could, I would see every broadway there is. I really have not seen a tons, but here are a few of my favorite:

Les Miserables
The Scarlet Pimpernel,
O (Circ De Soleil) Tyler and I saw that in Vegas and it was amazing!! I recommend it to everyone!!
Horton Hears a Who (Starring Jamie Kalama)
As a kid I always wanted to be an actress and I thought the best would be to perform on Broadway. However I am now perfectly content to perform in my own house! Lol! Lucky Tyler !

4. When I was single I hated going shooting on dates…I think its boring!! I get bored after two shots! I also hate fairs. Everything about them really! The rides, the dirt, the smoke, the games you can’t win with stupid prizes, and the carnies.

5. I just started playing the piano and I really love it! I finally decided to make the time for it and I really hope that I can get good. My mother in law who is an incredible pianist is helping me learn! I love going over and playing on her baby grand…it sounds so much prettier than my key board! Weird!

6. Tyler and I got married exactly 1 year to the day from our first date! We didn’t even know until a couple days before our wedding.

7. I am a foosball champion. I don’t know why but I am really good at that game. I’m pretty much undefeated. I’m even better than Neal. That’s right Neal Kennington…I’m talking about you! He likes to deny it, but the truth is I always win. Random side note…I am terrible at bowling. I never win, and I am usually always in last place. Not my sport!

A Day in the Life of Jenny Weech

Well, Savannah took on Monday Morning Blues, so I thought that I would handle Tuesday!
…So I didn’t have a very good morning this morning, as I was thinking about it, and feeling sorry for myself, I decided that how better to get over myself than laugh about it and let everyone else have a laugh. I’m not quite to the laughing point, but hope to be there by the time I’m done writing. Well I woke up late this morning, which is really not that unusual, but I felt extra tired this morning! I had about 15 minutes to get ready, for those of you doing the math, that that leaves no time for a shower. So I put my hair up threw on some clothes. Anyone who knows me knows that I have to eat breakfast and I don’t like going skimpy, so I made me some peanut butter and honey toast (lots of peanut butter ) and made some oatmeal. After my oatmeal over flowed all over the microwave plate I put it in a cup to head out the door. Now carrying my breakfast, purse, water, and my car and door keys, I’m ready to head out the door barely on time for work. As I try to open the door I watch in slow motion as my toast falls face down onto the ground (I’m still inside my apartment at this point.) So I have to put everything down, run back to the kitchen grab a couple paper towels and clean it up as best I can. I redo my balancing act and head out the door. I make it to my car just fine and am headed to work eating my pretty tasteless oatmeal when for some reason my hand decides to forget how to hold my spoon and I drop oatmeal spoon all over my lap and seat. After I clean that up with my sweater, I called Tyler at work as I do everyday on my way to work. I’m telling him about my morning and he’s being a great husband and sympathizing. He tells me to hold on one second b/c he ran into one of his painters and needed to talk to him, so I listen to him talk to his painter, then I hear his car door open and shut, and as I hear the radio turn on I begin to realize that I have been forgotten. After waiting a little while I hang up and call his work phone. He’s already laughing and apologizing when he answers. I however am not laughing. In my head I’m thinking this should probably be funny, but but still no laughter. After arriving to work I head to the bathroom. As I sit there, I feel something on my back and realize that my tie on the back of my shirt has come undone and is now hanging in the toilet! As if skipping the shower was not enough…lets add some toilet water to my aroma! LoL!! Welcome to my life! Hope you all enjoyed it!

BOX CANYON

Well we finally did it! We took the new jeep out wheelin. We went for about 6 hours yesterday exploring over in Box Canyon. Thats over by the 79 and the 60. It only took about 30 min. to get to the trail. It was alot of fun. We went with our cousin Kyle and his date Sarah. The jeep did really good. Gave us a scare right in the beginning. We were just sitting there waiting for kyle to catch up to us and the jeep just turned off. Then it was turning over but not starting. We are already about 8 miles into the trail and there is no way Kyle can pull me out through some of the rocks we went over. Turns out I just had something blocking my coil from giving my jeep a spark. (thanks to some guy that drove by) He fixed it and we were on our way.

This was the toughest part that we hit. FUN!

NEW JEEP!

Well we got a new Jeep. The white one was kinda falling apart and not working that good ( something to do with all that mud?) so we got one that runs real nice and is real nice on the inside. We haven't been able to kick it into 4x4 yet but have been planning on going to butcher jones or 4 peaks soon here. We will take some pictures when we do!

Well our honeymoon was fantastic! We got to spend a whole week in Longbeach CA. We had so much fun, and the weather was so nice! We got to go to the Newport Temple. It was beautiful!!! Then we ate Thanksgiving dinner on the Queen Mary after we took the haunted tour of the ship! It was quite the experience!

We've decided we want to be fun married people, so this last week we went out with some other fun married and single people and had the time of our lives!! Tyler is really into mudding these days. Every day that it rains, he comes home with a very muddy jeep...So for our date night we took our jeep and Tyler and Natalie brought Tyler's 4 wheel drive truck and our friends David and Becca brought David's jeep and we went off roading. It was so much fun and so so muddy! After that we all went hot tubbing in the rain! It was a great tripple date! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Well I just wanted to write and say thank you to everyone that came to my bridal shower this weekend, especially all of you who traveled from out of town. Thanks for all the wonderful gifts! My new dishes look fantastic in our new appartment. I'll post pictures soon. And thank you to my wonderful sisters Candi, Nicki, and Natalie...you guys did such a great job. Thank you for throwing me the best party of my life! I had such a good time. I love you all!

Well, anyone who knows me know that this is a dream come true...LOL! My photographer just wrote me to let me know that she just finished designing their ad for the AZ Bridal Warehouse magazine and we are in it! It's set in stone, I guess we have to get married now. We're published!!

Well Eerything is going great! Tyler and I got to go the the temple and do baptisms last night. It was really nice and the people we worked with were so funny! I met a lady last night who just got her thyroid taken out. Poor thing... she just had a baby and just thought that she was having a hard time recovering, then she found out she was hyper thyroid and then they found nodules so they actually had to remove it. So we had a nice little chat. Tyler and I had such a good time down in Yuma this weekend. We pretty much just slept the whole time! It was much needed! We are so excited to go to Yuma again this weekend. I am really looking forward to my bridal shower! I am so excited to see everyone. It is going to be a PARTY!!!! Hey sisters thank you so much for doing this for me. You guys really are the best!

Well this seems to be the winning engagement picture so far. We really had a lot of fun with Elisha and Dusty. We are really glad that they are our photographers. Now we are just trying to get our invitations done and in the mail, and I think we will be able to breath a bit easier.
